Saturday 11th

Went to breakfast at the diner. What are grits? Kate didnt know. Apparently there used to be toasters on every table and you made your own toast. But not anymore.

Then we went shopping and bought supplies that are unavailable in mammoth such as asian food and decent italian stuff. I also found milo! in the bankok market?

Then we went home and got ready to go to the premiere.
Running a little late so kate offered to drive us there. The premiere was at The Chinese Theatre on hollywood blvd. That is where the accademy awards are held. We approach hollywood and there are signs saying hollywood blvd is closed. We all get excited cause we know it is closed for the premiere. Kate heard that there was going to be a kangaroo race for promotion and that they had been training kangaroos for 6 months.

We got there and there was a big crowd. The red carpet was out and there were kangaroos and camels, but they werent racing. we walked through the crowd and saw the stars of the movie doing publicity, but we couldnt figure out how to get in. Then we realised we had to walk the red carpet.

So we got on the carpet, stoped for photos with the kangaroos, mingled with the stars and the paparatzi and made our way into the theatre.
