Ali did her laundry last night and said when she went to bed she couldnt sleep cause her sheets smelt like the laundry mat and the laundry mat is the dirtiest place in the world.

When Ali was a kid, she used to be afraid of small change.

  Went skiing on Friday with Greg.

Greg fell three times on the first two runs, hurt his shoulder, got cramp in his feet and couldnt go on.
We had to catch the bus back to main lodge cause he couldnt make it. I thought it was funny and told his work buddies in the repair shop.

Now he is the laughing stock of the whole department. Even his big boss made a joke of him at the weekly staff meeting.

They made posters and found a pair of pink skis and engraved them with his name. They pretended to be transport dept and rang up and said he left stuff on the bus. They even got customers to go up and pay him out.

Is this my fault?

  Went to sushi last night. Splurged cause my arm was hurting from all the exercises I did on Friday.

Notables:
Everyone from the physical therapy office were there. My therapist asked if my arm hurt. I replied 'no it doesnt at the moment' and she said 'are you on painkillers' and i said yes and she said 'and the beer' and i said yeh.

Everyone from CL were there too. ***** was there. The last time Ali spoke to ***** was at the 70s party and she told him she thought he was the sexiest man alive. She was embarrassed to talk to him.

The unknown CL instructor that i have a photo of was there. He was sitting at a table with four guys who all had identical faces and were all wearing woollen headbands.

  Had physical therapy yesturday, my therapist says Im a "modern medical miracle".

I know that ***** with foot problem used to be a chip and dale dancer.
I wanted to tell my therapist but I never had the chance.

I like therapy it's fun, but the next day my arm hurts.

  Played an Austrian drinking game last night.

It involved bouncing an Austrian coin of a marble tile and getting it into an empty glass.
I lost badly.
Claire dressed me in my jacket back to front like a straight jacket and Ali M made me stand on a beam and karate fight him for my hat.

  Lots of celbrity action:

Christina Applegate was skiing dowon sesame street all day. She went into the rental shop and the guys there didnt think she was that hot.

Jennifer and Ben are on the mountain cause Ben is filming a movie here. They had a party in the Yodler Pub the other day.

Seal was skiing the mountain last week. He went through some trees and cut his cheek, Huti saw the incident report.

William Shatner was at the lodge down the road where my housemates work. He said to an employee "Hello, I'm William Shatner" and shook her hand. She didnt know who he was.

Someone videoed us doing the dance on the stage to Addicted to Love.
Ali lost her guitar and her shoes.
Dayle lost her guitar.
Claire and Dayle walked home and found Ali on our next door neighbours balcony bashing on the door at 2am with no shoes on.
Ali's friend Vinnie from out of town woke up in a cupboard full of fold out chairs in the caravan park at 9am and didnt know how he got there or how to get home to Ali's.

Our guitars arrived today, we got a dozen blow up guitars for $10 from ebay.

We need to find 9 other girls, not an easy task here in mammoth.

  Went skiing with Claire and Ali at lunch today
Claire and Ali say I look like a lady when I ski
Ali impersonates me by swinging her hips and pursing her lips
Claire and Ali tried to do jumps but failed
Ali flew off the first one but then fell off the second
Claire has shingles but she can do mini rails
She did a jump and accidently did a 180 and landed on her face.

  Went bowling last night, yey, finally people who will bowl with me.

My gentle but precise style amazed most and frustrated a few.
Ali D. got better as her medication kicked in.
Gill's no thumb but lots of spin method was a bit on and off.
Ali D was upset cause she had to wear shoes that others had worn.
Claire didn't like sitting in the front seat because she felt vunerable to those behind her, and she was.

  I havent seen the mouse since Wednesday.

Thursday:
Went skiing at June Mountain with Huti and Huia.
Stayed on the green runs with Huti cause the doctor told me not to fall down cause it would be bad.

Friday:
Worked hard, no sign of the mouse.
Snow storm came in, got 3 inches.

Saturday:
Worked hard again, more snow maybe 1 foot.
Drove to Bishop to get costume for employee party.
Theme = "come as your favourite 80's star"
Claire, Ali and I have the best costumes, but it's a secret for now.
Maybe even better than our rollergirl costumes from the last party.

Sunday:
Day off, did laundry, drank vodka and orange in the afternoon, mopped floor.
Went to bed early.
Woke up 220am
Took vikoden (panadeine fort)
Slept.

Today:
Working not so hard. St Patricks day. My friend Joe the Irish snowboard instructor is wearing a lepricorn outfit. He must be cold I think.

  Went out to La Sierra's last night.

Today I have the worst hang over ever.

How will I get through the day.

I have a preminition I'm going to fall asleep on the couch and my boss is gonna come up the stairs really quietly and I wont wake up.

I lost my first game of foos ball last night since being in America. Americans aren't that good at foos ball. The one who beat me learnt in Italy.

  Watched The Virgin Suicides on dvd last night.

Simon is Trip Fontaine.

I've decided it is a very good movie.

Ate homemade enchiladas, they were delicious. I really hate mexican food now, except homemade mexican food made by mexicans.

Claire and Gill played our new favourite game. Its called 'knock your socks off'. It involves putting your socks so they are half sliding of your feet, then trying to step on the other persons feet to get their socks off before they get yours. It is a lot safer than the previous favourite game which was 'head wrestle mania'.

Oh, that's right, I went to the doctor. Once again I was complimented on my speedy recovery. The doctor put his hand out and i thought he meant for me to give him my broken arm to feel. But he just wanted to shake my hand. Three doctors came to see my arm cause it is interesting. There was one student doctor, one intermediate doctor and one old doctor. The old doctor said that I am healing better cause I am a women and I have estrogen? The other doctors nodded and agreed.  ¶ 5:13 AM 0 comments

  On Saturday night I dreamt there was a really big earthquake.

Sunday 9th:
The estimated magnitude-4.0 quake struck at 7:35 a.m. and was centered seven miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes, according to officials at the U.S. Geological Survey.

I also dreamt i opened the little hatch in my room in the attick and there was something really horrible in there but I cant remember what it was. Then last night I watched the ring and I dreamt that the girl crawled out of the hatch. I dont like the hatch.

  Well, I went to the physio yesturday and she said im at 10degrees extension and 35degrees flexion. This is where the doctor predicted my arm may stop forever. However, it seems that he was wrong as I am continually improving. Lucky, cause i still exhibit somewhat barbie doll like limited movement.

I was supposed to go skiing for the first time since the accident today but my housemate Huia left at 7am without me. I am a tad upset as it is a perfect day.

On friday I was gonna go skiing but i had a physio appointment so I didnt finish up going. Instead I finished up going to the casino in Bishop, the next town over. Started playing black jack, won a few, lost a few. Waited for a waitress to come, none came. Went looking for the bar, asked where the bar was and I thought the guy was joking when he said there was none. But he wasnt.
Quote "We have to keep the natives away from the alcohol"
It was an indian casino and so alcohol is illegal. I was a little upset.

We left and went to "Rusty's". A western bar with lots of cowboys and vietnam vets. But the beer was cheap, $1.50 a pint, but I had to drink budweiser, eghh.

Went back to the casino. Played a couple of hands of bj. Then saw they were playing Texas. 10 men I started watching and then I got asked for ID twice so we left. I could have taken the table though..  ¶ 9:09 AM 0 comments

  Last night was Amy's last night.

We went to Angel's for dinner:

They gave us cheese biscuits (scones) with honey butter instead of bread. I thought they were disgusting but everyone else loved them.

Funny things the waiter said

W: Hi guys, the soup today is creamy cauliflower with cheese, sounds disgusting to me, but each to their own.

W: Would you like fries, baked beans or fresh fruit with your ribs?
Amy: What are the beans like?
W: They're not that nice.

Dayle: Can we have two coffees please?
10 minutes later when coffees come
W: Here you go ladies, sorry it took so long, I only charged you for one because they are totally over priced anyway.

What people ate:

Huia - flat iron steak with mash and veg (veg never came)
Huti - cajun salmon pasta (average, but it came out right)
Dayle - cajun salmon pasta (average, but it came out right)
Claire - best fish and chips in the Sierra Nevada (average, they didnt bring the coleslaw)
Dan - roast beef sandwich (they forgot the coleslaw)
Amy - special beef ribs with mash and coleslaw (she got 5 massive ribs, coleslaw never came, ribs were fatty)
Greg - some kind of meaty thing (coleslaw never came)

Then we went to La Sierra's for Hip Hop night.

Elana, this crazy woman from daycare was there. Everyone was looking at her because she makes all her own clothes. Last night she was wearing a lovely red and white ensomble features being the use of red felt and white stockings worn with sandles.

I organised a ride with the CAT crew when they go out at night and groom the runs. They said they'd take me down the black runs.

  My friend Ali thinks she's really funny cause she drew a controversial picture on jeem beem.

She likes to talk toilet talk and especially like the phrase "back one out", why she tributes it to me I don't know. Claire say's we're ladies and that phrase shouldn't be used in the office.


At least my depiction is based on fact.

  Today I have to do the report at work. It's really boring and entails going through a 100 page document of all the employees time punches for the week and commenting on any anomalies or changes that we made to peoples pay. Last time I did it, Claire checked it and found 10 things that I missed. Im not very good at paying attention to details.

So far, to postpone doing the report I have:

1. Gone across the snow to main lodge and bought everyone in the office breakfast.
Everyone had special orders so I wrote them out and gave the written order to the cafe guy. He only got one out of 5 correct. Next time I will write it in spanish I think.

2. Played 'can you catch a whole chocolate bar in your mouth' with a coordinator. I got hit in the mouth and my lip is bleeding now.

3. Checked my email and got annoyed because the only emails were from the lunch list and I have continually asked to be taken off it.

4. Read everybodies blogs.

5. Updated my blog.

  I think jon is feeling empathy pains for my arm...

I gained 5 degrees in extension and 10degrees in flexian yesturday.

I still cant sleep at night and i think it is starting to annoy my housemates. Currently we have 9 people living in our condo. I cant really help but wake someone up.
