Rabid
Went to the travel Dr today. Had Hep A, Hep B and Typhoid vaccinations, heading back 3 more times in the next 4 weeks to get Rabies and Hep A Hep B finished.
Rabies sounds pretty bad, 100% fatal, 10% of Hong Kong dogs have it, all you need is a little scratchy and your foaming at the mouth.
While the Dr was giving me injections, he yawned and said “I think I’ve had enough for today”, he seemed pretty relaxed to me, a little too relaxed actually. Especially with all those diseases around, but I guess he is prolly vaccinated for everything, so not much to worry about. As for me, I’m pretty worried, after my SARS scare last year I don’t think you can be too careful.
J asked the Dr if he knew some guy and the Dr goes “yeh, slacker, we used to work on STD’s together, that guy is a laid back slacker”
