Because my insurance companie refuse to pay for my physical therapy I can only afford to go once a week and so my therapist said it will be fine but I have to do exercises five times a day.
I went to therapy yesturday after a week of no therapy and the therapist was really impressed at my progress. She said I am a model patient.
Dayle's Home Exercise Plan
Do the following FIVE times a day:
1. Bend and straighten elbow unassisted as far as possible (20 times)
2. Point fingers toward the ground with elbow at 90deg and then use right hand to stretch. (3 times for 30secs)
3. Point fingers toward the ground with palm facing upwards and use right hand to stretch. (3 times for 30secs)
4. With forearm on table and, roll arm to palm up then palm down (20 times)
5. Stretch elbow into flexian and extension with assistance from right arm. Push until arm will not move with force then push back on right arm for 6 seconds. (10 times each direction)
6. Ice twice a day for 20 minutes
This ocupies me for a long time each day. Five times a day means 9am 12pm 3pm 6pm and 9pm.
However, due to my rigorous exercise plan my arm gets so sore at night it aches and I cant sleep. I took 10 painkillers the other night and then I felt sick. So last night I just got drunk, it was a good solution to all the problems. I think drinking alcohol is preferable to painkillers?
